For those of you who wonder, yes I am crazy. Rusty and I both work full time jobs and own 5 rental properties we manage ourselves. September of 2010 knowing I was having triplets I opened a business with a friend. Now we have all this plus our children. Just in case you were wondering I have no plans on changing any of it!!!!

Had our 1 year check up today. All the kids are doing well. She said she was very impressed for 28 weekers. They are completely caught up on everything except fine motor which she said would not take long to catch up. They are working on fine motor now and are improving daily. She gave us the go ahead to switch them to whole milk but still wants us to add some formula powder to the milk and yogurt and other things they eat or drink just for the extra nutrition for the next 3 months. All the kids are eating so well. She also said that we just need to make sure they are getting 16oz of fluids per day and they can eat whatever they want. (Balanced diet of course) No more baby food for this girl!! Those babies were getting expensive, now we can cut back on the amount of formula we buy and quit buying baby food!!!! So here are their stats from the appointment today:

Ryan: 29.5 in long (50%) way to go big boy!! 19lbs 14oz. He lost a little when he was sick and is just about caught back up. He is growing like a champ and the doctor was very happy!!

Tyler: 28.5in long (10%) still barely on the chart but the doctor was happy considering where he started. She said he has made continual gains and is growing as expected. 16 lbs 11oz so he is lagging behind his brother a little more than usual but he is eating like a champ. His head growth was much better this time so the doctor assured me that he is using his calories to get smarter which is fine with her!!

Emily: 28.25in (25%) very good growth. 18lb 3oz. Her head still measures in the 75 percentile and she has the biggest head of all 3 of them! The doctor did not refer to her as the one with the biggest head but rather, the smartest! LOL

All in all I was very pleased with this visit and hope their growth pattern continues to be positive. We will be eating more table food. Today for lunch they got oven roasted turkey, cooked baby carrots, 1/2 slice of cheese, and a couple of wheat thins and they loved it! Breakfast was rice cereal with diced bananas. I feel like they have come so far in their eating skills just in the last few weeks. So excited to be able to sit them at the table and let them have meals with us!
