Valentine's Day

The kids are all doing well. All are walking now so life is super busy! We did take some time out to get some valentine pictures taken. Here are a few she posted for me on facebook. My CD is done so I should get it tomorrow sometime.

Some of those mommy moments you are not so proud of...We got to make our first poison control call Sunday morning when the boys decided to have one of my plants for breakfast! Turns out it has some crystals that can embed in the skin when the leaves are broken (which they were!). We had to rinse their mouths with water, scrub their hands and face to remove any crystals that may be on the skin and brush their teeth. (and cheeks, tongue, roof of mouth, lips...) The plant can cause a local reaction causing redness and swelling. Since they were eating them that could mean they would have trouble swallowing. Luckily they said we called quick enough we likely were able to wash of most of the liquid and crystals off so the did not have a reaction of any kind. We don't know if Emily had any or not but she got the scrub down too!

The positive thing about the situation...They are all good eaters and not very picky! LOL
