For those of you who wonder, yes I am crazy. Rusty and I both work full time jobs and own 5 rental properties we manage ourselves. September of 2010 knowing I was having triplets I opened a business with a friend. Now we have all this plus our children. Just in case you were wondering I have no plans on changing any of it!!!!

1/25/11

Ryan: He has had a set back and has been taken off his feedings. He is off his antibiotics now and should be getting fed again by friday evening. He is a little fussy without his food but not nearly as bad as I had expected. I am hoping this set back will lead to him to eat better once he gets his food back. Since he is off food and on antibiotics because of the fear of an intestinal infection he has been put into a radiant warmer bed and means I no longer get to dress him up! :( I will be so glad when he gets back to air controlled temperature so I can dress him again.

Tyler: He is improving daily and has been able to get his feeding tube out of his mouth and put into his nose because he is now off all his oxygen!!!! I was able to try him on a bottle today for the first time. He took 6ml which is just over a teaspoon. He did really well and after I stopped him twice when he forgot to breath. He was very good at pacing himself from that point on. I was so proud of him for working so hard...as usual! He is such a fighter. I know these aren't very clear pictures but it is still nice to see his face.

Emily: She is our little trooper who doesn't know how little she is. She has been moved to an open bed and has been put on ad lib feedings. With these she has to eat 320 ml in 24 hours but she does not have to eat a certain amount at each feeding. So far today in 12 hours she is 5ml ahead of where she has to be. I am keeping my fingers crossed that she will be able to meet the 320ml goal. She had her hearing screening yesterday and it was normal. She had her feeding tube removed today. She is having her carseat trial tomorrow which consists of her sitting in her carseat for 3 hours and not having any trouble with her breathing or heart rate. If she is able to keep up on her eating for  24 - 72 hours (depends on the doctor!) she will be able to come HOME!!!! well to the apartment anyway. I am so excited and am saying my prayers that she is strong enough to keep up the good work.
