Happy Easter!
Today was a wonderful day for our family. Not only has Christ risen, but our beautiful babies were baptised. I was so happy to have them all in church for the first time today and to make them preparatory members of our church. When went to church early so we could feed the babies (in hopes of them not spitting up all over their clothes in the car!) and to watch the other kiddos in the Easter egg hunt. Everyone was so excited to see the babies and Emily (aka my social butterfly) was eating it up! She was smiling like crazy and talking to everyone. The boys could care less, go figure! We got all the family rounded up and in to the sanctuary to be seated while they were singing praise songs before the service. The reality of my triple blessing, once again was overwhelming and I had a few tears! It had to be another of the most wonderful moments in my life. I am so proud of my little miracles that words could not explain. What a mighty God we serve! I hope that we are able to raise them as I was raised and they will someday make their own decision to follow the lord. All of the babies were so good during church I actually had someone ask me what we gave them before the service. I did not have to take any of them out except to change a diaper. They never cried once. Ryan sang with our pastors wife and was kicking his feet to the beat. Emily was happy and smiling. Tyler however, slept through the whole service. Oh well, at least he was good! None of them cried during the baptism which I greatly feared. Guess God was in control. I was in such awe today and all week as I looked back at their first pictures and can see everyday how far they have all come. God has guided our every move and has helped them to stay strong and grow. We have had so many prayers from our church family and many family and friends. From what I understand we have had prayers from all over the country from people I have never met. Prayer works! I believe these babies are living proof of that. If I ever meet anyone who doesn't believe in prayer they must have not met my children! I hope everyone is still praying for them because we still have hurdles ahead! I read today that a church in china was not allowed to have their Easter services today. Police held many of the organizers on house arrest and they closed down the area of the service with armed guards. My heart goes out to the Christians today. I cannot imagine not being able to have the enjoyment I had today. I hope all of them stand strong in their faith. I will be praying for them and those who are keeping them from worshiping. Maybe God will speak to their hearts and open them. People may be able to stop services and meetings but people can never stop silent prayers from the hearts of the believers! May God be with all of you on this wonderful Easter! Praise God for all our blessings!
