For those of you who wonder, yes I am crazy. Rusty and I both work full time jobs and own 5 rental properties we manage ourselves. September of 2010 knowing I was having triplets I opened a business with a friend. Now we have all this plus our children. Just in case you were wondering I have no plans on changing any of it!!!!

New weights

I weighed the babies on our home scale and got some new weights. I didn't do the whole strip down to nothing trick so they aren't exact. Tyler was 12lb 4ozs, Emily was 13lbs 6oz, and Ryan was 14lbs 6 oz. These weights are an approximation because our scale only measures in lbs not ozs.
I have been doing some reflections and cannot believe the changes I have seen in all the babies but especially Tyler. They have changed and grown since they came into this world 12 weeks early. We started with a battle to breath on our own and just "survive". The next hurdle was getting our sugars under control and our blood counts to stay where they should be. They all learned how to suck then slowly how to eat. Strange to think they had to "learn" how to eat but being that early they were not born with the suck, swallow, breath reflex. We battled reflux and "touch me not" syndrome. They have gone through not wanting to me touched to loving it! All of the unknowns for the first several months made mom and dad crazy and yet so thankful that most of our worries were just that, worries. We could not have been much more blessed. Tyler had surgery for his hernia and is facing another in September for hypospadias (Opening for urine to exit is on the bottom of the penis instead of the tip.) He became a whole new baby after the first surgery. He was eating better and seemed to have less reflux. Ryan battled not wanting to eat and now doesn't want to not eat! He will have a major fit if he doesn't get food fast enough. Emily was the first to go home at 4lbs 10ozs eating well but having horrible reflux. Unfortunately she is still known as my spitter but now has become my chunky monkey so I am sure she is getting plenty of food and the reflux is not affecting her! We have overcome so many hurdles and they are all progressing well and are looking forward to the 9month visit to the doctor. Not only to see how she feels they are doing but also because this is a visit with no immunizations! WooHoo!
Here are some pictures from when we brought them home compared to now. Hope you all see the blessings that I do! GOD is great!!!!
