For those of you who wonder, yes I am crazy. Rusty and I both work full time jobs and own 5 rental properties we manage ourselves. September of 2010 knowing I was having triplets I opened a business with a friend. Now we have all this plus our children. Just in case you were wondering I have no plans on changing any of it!!!!

Ryan's home!

Let me say right off the bat, please excuse any typos! I have a baby asleep on my right arm and another asleep in the packNplay that could wake up anytime to eat. So in other words, I am partially handicapped and also working against the baby feeding clock! Sorry it has been so long on updates but I am sure it will only get worse. I am doing my best. If someone would like to update for me I will gladly dictate it to you as I fill bottles and feed babies! lol

Ryan: Home today at 5lb 12oz! He is doing really well so far. It is a hard adjustment from the NICU and its noises to home and the new things here. What a trooper he his taking it all in stride so far. We will be having several follow-up appointments in the next couple of weeks just like Emily did. Makes life fun for mom and grandma!

Tyler: Still in the NICU but hopefully not for long! We are figuring out what works for him to make his feedings better. We are now giving him oxygen during his feedings and thickening his milk. In the words of Ashlea our occupational therapist we are taking it from "2% milk consistency to that of V8." The thicken makes it easier to swallow as well as slows down the liquid allowing a little more time for him to get things together. If the milk is to thin it flows to quickly and makes it very hard for him to control.  The combination of these two things seem to be working well. They tell me he will probably go home with oxygen that he will wear when he eats. They have also put him back on caffeine which stimulates his breathing. He will go home with that as well. He is now up to 4lb 12oz. 1 more oz and he will be 3lbs heavier than his birth weight!

Emily: Now 5lb 8oz. She has been cleared by the eye doctor and we don't have to see him for 1 year! She was off of her apnea monitor after just 2 weeks and has had her first set of immunizations. She is down to just seeing the pediatrician for routine visits at this point! Can't believe it happened so fast! She is going to find it hard to have to share I think but she will adjust to her brother being home. I just can't wait until Tyler is home too so we can go back HOME! Apartment living gets old quick!
