For those of you who wonder, yes I am crazy. Rusty and I both work full time jobs and own 5 rental properties we manage ourselves. September of 2010 knowing I was having triplets I opened a business with a friend. Now we have all this plus our children. Just in case you were wondering I have no plans on changing any of it!!!!

12/18/10

Well today has been a good day so far. I hope tomorrow is just as good. Tyler is so far successfully off the ventilator. He has now graduated to a CPAP like brother and sister had before. Emily and Ryan are both just breathing room air all on their own now. I have said many prayers for my tiny little boy since they took the ventilator off between 3:30 and 4:00 this afternoon. We left the hospital around 6:00 and he had some difficulty off and on so we were not sure what would happen. We went back around 8:45 and found he was still on the CPAP and appeared to finally be accepting it and was not trying to fight it. I will be saying more prayers tonight that he will still be doing as well in the morning. Emily and Ryan both graduated to what they call "big boy" incubators. They are still enclosed incubators but have heat only and not humidity like the others did. They still have IV's for their nutrition they get in the vein and a feeding tube. The feeding tube was in their mouth but today they took those out and put them in their nose and secured them with clear tape so that we can actually see what they look like now. Rusty held Ryan for a little while today but he was unable to stay warm enough and he had to put him back in his bed. I held Emily about 2 hours.

Emily and Mommy doing their favorite thing!

Ryan, poor guy looks like an old man thanks to the tape drying out his entire top lip.
